iiRDS Latest Developments, Use Cases and more
The tcworld conference offers exciting presentations on iiRDS. Consortium members and companies will present updates and pilot projects on iiRDS. Get hands-on information about the latest developments of iiRDS and its implementation.
On the first conference day, German speakers get insights into the iiRDS pilot project at Heller in "iiRDS als Allzweckwaffe - Vom Content zur Konversation mit Chatbots" by Niko Schad and Fabienne Rothenberg and information on "Qualitätsprüfung technischer Dokumentation im Zeitalter von KI und iiRDS" by Markus Kronfellner.
Find out what's new with iiRDS in "iiRDS: Latest Developments" on the second day. The working group convenors will each give an overview of progress make in developments, tools and standardization and give an outlook into 2026. Followed by a presentation on iiRDS and smart standards by Ulrike Parson and Harald Stadlbauer in "Mit IDIS und iiRDS Normen mit Risikoanalyse und Dokumentation verbinden", who will also host a meetup on iiRDS directly after their presentation.
On the third day, the new iiRDS version 1.3 will be subject of the German-speaking presentation "iiRDS/H kurz vorgestellt" by Gerhard Glatz.

DITA and iiRDS at DITA Europe
The afternoon of the second conference day of DITA Europe offers five presentations on iiRDS.
In "Hey DITA, Talk To Me! How iiRDS Graphs Infer Answers" dive with Mark Schubert into iiRDS packages and learn how RDF triples construct a metadata graph. The graph will answer questions about the content and help you find relevant information for multiple hands-down use cases. Harald Stadlbauer, Mark Schubert and Eliot Kimber will talk about "Better Information Retrieval in Bringing DITA, SKOS, iiRDS Together", followed by Marion Knebel and Gaspard Bébié-Valérian explaining how iiRDS enhances a content delivery platform with semantic metadata, enabling users to find what they need via search and filters or a RAG-based chatbot in "DITA, iiRDS, and AI Team Up for Smart Content Delivery". Harald Stadlbauer and Helmut Nagy will give insights on "Bridging the Gap – Connect DITA, Multimodal Data via iiRDS" and Karsten Schrempp will discuss "Highly Configurable Content using DITA, Knowledge Graphs and CPQ-Tool".
