At the tcworld 2025 conference in Stuttgart, the iiRDS Consortium and its partners presented several key developments and practical applications of iiRDS. Three videos are now available on our YouTube channel:

  1. iiRDS Latest Developments: This English-language presentation covers the latest iiRDS developments from 2025 and provides a preview of plans for 2026. Key milestones include the release of iiRDS 1.3 with the new iiRDS/H package variant, the publication of a free guide for standardized iiRDS metadata usage, and major progress in international standardization. Watch to learn about the current state and future of iiRDS presented by the Steering Committee Coordinator Anne Kuhsen, iiRDS Project Manager Susanne Lohmüller and the Working Group Convenors Achim Steinacker and Harald Stadlbauer.
  2. iiRDS/H – Combining iiRDS and VDI 2770 (German): Presented by Gerhard Glatz (plusmeta GmbH), this talk introduces the new iiRDS/H package, which merges the flexibility of iiRDS with the structured requirements of VDI 2770. The presentation explains the rationale for this update, highlights the new features, and provides guidance on migrating from VDI 2770 to iiRDS/H. 
  3. Using IDiS and iiRDS to Manage Standards Changes and Risk Assessment (German): Presented by Ulrike Parson (parson AG) and Harald Stadlbauer (Ninefeb GmbH), this talk demonstrates how iiRDS supports digital management of norm changes and risk assessments, helping ensure consistent and up-to-date technical documentation. The presentation is based on the IDiS initiative and shows how digital norms can be linked to risk evaluation and documentation updates.
