The application phase for iiRDS pilot projects is officially open. Companies can apply now through March 1, 2026 and take a supported first step toward intelligent information delivery.
Now is the perfect time to move from planning to action with iiRDS. The iiRDS Consortium is inviting companies to participate in its pilot project program, offering practical support to help organizations implement the intelligent information Request and Delivery Standard (iiRDS) in real-world scenarios.
The current application phase is open now through March 1, 2026. Selected pilot projects receive funding of up to 5,000 Euro, which can be used for consulting and implementation services. Each participating company works closely with an experienced iiRDS Consultant from the Consortium’s Pool, ensuring a structured and standards-based approach tailored to individual business needs.
iiRDS pilot projects are designed to help organizations gain hands-on experience with semantic metadata, intelligent content exchange, and information delivery. They demonstrate how iiRDS improves interoperability between systems, enables smarter content reuse, and supports modern digital service and documentation strategies.
As part of the program, pilot partners contribute to the growing iiRDS knowledge base by sharing results and lessons learned. This includes presenting outcomes at a tekom conference and, where appropriate, contributing to published best practice examples that help guide other companies on their iiRDS journey.
With increasing tool support, including an iiRDS plugin for the DITA Open Toolkit, getting started is more accessible than ever. Whether your organization is exploring intelligent information delivery for the first time or looking to advance an existing strategy, an iiRDS pilot project offers a focused and supported entry point.
Apply by March 1, 2026, and take the next step toward future-ready, intelligent information delivery with iiRDS.
