iiRDS grows internationally

In 2025 and early 2026, the iiRDS Consortium welcomed new members that strengthen our international presence, deepen collaboration with the DITA community in the US, and add software expertise from Germany.

In the second half of 2025, the iiRDS Consortium received reinforcement in its efforts to further establish iiRDS internationally. Two new US-based members, Intuitive Stack and Robert Johnson (Clio's Techscribe), joined the Consortium and have since become actively involved in advancing iiRDS adoption and collaboration.

We met both new members at ConVEx San Jose in April 2025, where they presented on iiRDS in collaboration with existing iiRDS Consortium members. Following this, employees from Intuitive Stack participated in the iiRDS online training and have continued to increase their involvement. They are currently preparing to present iiRDS at ConVEx Pittsburgh in April 2026 together with C-REX and Ninefeb.

Robert Johnson is an active member of the OASIS DITA Technical Committee and the DITA community in the Boston area. Through his engagement, he has become a key liaison between the iiRDS Consortium and the DITA community in the US. This collaboration has developed steadily, with regular monthly meetings and valuable feedback feeding into the iiRDS Development Working Group. We look forward to further intensifying our cooperation with the DITA community and strengthening our presence in the US market.

The year 2026 began with another valuable addition: EnduraDocs joined the iiRDS Consortium as a new member. As software developers, EnduraDocs brings strong technical expertise and a keen interest in exchanging ideas and contributing actively to the iiRDS working groups. Their involvement supports the continued evolution of iiRDS and its tooling.

With the Consortium’s vision of establishing iiRDS as an international standard and continuously developing both the specification and its ecosystem, we are delighted to welcome this additional expertise.
